Does anyone have the inside scoop on when in September the Pope will make Mother Teresa a saint? I am planning a trip that includes Rome and want to avoid encountering a million or so extra people if possible. I understand the anniversary of her death is September 5, does that mean I'll be "safe" towards the end of the month? ( Last time I visited Rome I managed to book a Colosseum tour on the day of the Rome Marathon--which begins and ends at the Colosseum. Picture Boston Marathon.) Thanks in advance.
Cynthia
According to this New York Times article, while there is speculation that Sept 4 is the day, the Vatican itself has not announced a date: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/19/world/europe/mother-teresas-path-to-sainthood-cleared-by-vatican.html?ref=world&_r=0
