I have heard of seasonal food festivals called "la sagra" on a Rick Steves podcast. Does anyone have any information on how to find a schedule for these town festivals. We will be in Italy in late May and early June visiting Cinque Terra, Florence, Sienna, and Rome.

You can check most easily by region (Tuscany, Liguria, Lazio). The sagre tend to be celebrated outside the major cities, since they are mainly agricultural in nature.
