We are two weman taking a 6 AM flight from Orly .What is the safe way to transfer from city to the airport ? Can we trust the Taxi? Is there a hotel within walking distane to the airport? I check couple hotel which suppose close to the airport but the shuttle bus starts at 5 Am .So it does help.

I think the only hotel within walking distance is the Hilton Garden. We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard. Very nice and not like the Courtyards in states. I would recommend. They will shuttle you to and from airport. Try and take care of eating before you get there because there isn't much around and the hotel restaurant was the only bad meal I had the entire Italy trip. And very expensive. If you are in Rome the day before you can take the train out to the hotel the evening before. It is safe. Shuttle can then pick you up there and take you to hotel. I think it is about 10 minute shuttle ride to and from hotel to airport.
