I'm arriving at the Florence airport and I need to go to an Air BnB apartment in Santa Croce.
The host said a taxi will take me to the "center" (Florence I assume?) for about 25 Euro.
But will a taxi take me right to the apartment for a bit more money, rather than dropping me off at Florence city center??
I just want the safest and quickest way to get there. I don't want to worry about pickpockets at train stations. Going to Via de Macci 1, Santa Croce.

I think you will find that your host was referring to the historic center AREA, not a specific spot. As opposed to the more distant neighborhoods. Santa Croce is in the historic center of Florence. Take the taxi. You already got that answer last month.
