Would love to have recommendations as to where to store luggage (4 pieces) for 1 day or more near Napoli Centrale Train station.

There is a manned deposit inside the station close to track #5, but it's not cheap
Frankly, I have never stumbled upon an unsafe place to store luggage all around the world. It's their job and it isn't exactly a difficult one.

Stasher is an online left luggage service - they may have a location close to the train station,

We will be using Kipoint because it is inside the Naples train station and manned. We reserved our bag storage. We are using a Pacsafe Exomesh bag for the backpack containing the computer.
Many of the other storage places are outside the station. On Google Earth, they look really sketchy.
