Hi Everyone, My husband has a sabbatical from work so we are planning our holiday. Theme of the holiday is to relax and to see and do new things. So, we have decided to spend most of this time in Italy. For the trip; it's going to be my husband, our 14-month-old baby and myself. We're living in Switzerland so will pack our car and spend about 5 weeks in Italy. So, the rough plan is: April 20/21 - Start driving and go to Deiva Marina (already rented a house) and stay there 9 days. During this time, my parents will also be there (mid 60's and not capable of walking so many stairs). We would like to take day trips to Lerici, Portofino, and some other small towns. Cinque Terre sounds like it might be too much for baby and parents. Any recommendations on where else to go/restaurants? May 1 – leave Deiva Marina and start making our way down to the Amalfi coast. With the baby, this might take 1-2 days. In Amalfi coast, we would like to spend about a week and rent an apartment or a house. Thinking of staying in Sorrento. Want to be in a town but also able to take some day trips. Does that seem reasonable? Any recommendations on websites/villas to rent? Restaurants? to be continued...
