ryanair or easyjet?

I have flown on both before, but the one thing I am trying to remember is WHICH airline had more space when you were sitting on the plane. I remember being very crammed in my seat on ryanair, but cannot remember the easyjet plane. Anyone know?

Both fly 737'sv -- dash 800's, I think.

Easyjet also has a big bunch of Airbus 319's and seems to be phasing out the 737's.

Airbus is wider than the Boeing, but which equipment would probably depend on the route.
