Does anyone know when Ryanair's new schedule is published. At present it is up to April 25th 2023
and I need flights for May 2023.
Any help is appreciated.
It sounds like you are trying to book a route that doesn’t operate in the summer. I have just tried a dummy booking and I can book a flight from London to Barcelona next December, so their timetables run well beyond April.
What route are you looking at?
Hi Jennifer. Looking to book Catania Sicily to Rome one way for May 16 2023- 2 adults. Tried just a few minutes ago still not allowing me to book. Do you know if they stop this route in April for the summer?
Ryanair has loaded many of their schedules for Summer 2023, I would think a place like Catania would have more options available in Summer than Winter. I looked, and the only flights I could find out of Catania in May were to Trieste...so either not all schedules have been loaded, or something else is up. Looking at Palermo, daily flights to Rome are only scheduled through March, so here's hoping they just are not loaded.
Ryanair expanded greatly in Italy in 2022, and I think they benefited much in the Alitalia to ITA transition, maybe with ITA coming back, some slots at airports are in dispute.
I would be patient and check periodically through January. Also keep in mind that some routes do not fly daily, but Rome likely does.
ITA airways (post bankruptcy reorganization of the old Alitalia). Has flights up on its website for May 2023. Multiple flights available on your chosen date.
If Ryanair's schedule for the summer is published, and you still can't buy a flight from Sicily to Rome. Then the easy answer is most likely that Ryanair won't be flying that route in the summer.
Thank you all for your input. I suspect that they do not fly this route in summer. I have booked on ITA even though more expensive.
I was going to add that I used EasyJet and was able to book tickets from Sicily to Naples. Just another option :)
