Are there trails/roads in or about Sorrento Italy one can run or jog? I'll be in Sorrento the end of September and would love to continue my jogging routine.

I run a lot. So, one time in Sorrento, I got a scooter and scouted for runs. I didn't find any. The reason is that every time I thought that I had found a cool route with nice views and no mountain climbs, the sidewalk disappeared, as did the shoulder. The shoulder/sidewalk became a wall on both sides of the road with hairpin turns wide enough for 1.5 cars and zero room for pedestrians. Running there would be running two steps into traffic If you get a route in or near Sorrento, I recommend that you take a Google Street View "drive". I solved the problem by starting very early, before Sorrento wakes up, and I just ran the main streets around downtown. Boring. Next time, I am going to run the runable parts of this, and walk the rest of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gakDN590JA .
