I read in the RS updates we can purchase our Vatican Muse tickets at the "Info" office in St Peter's Square now. Has anyone tried this? Is there a line to do this now? I would really rather purchase there with cash. Also, I am scheduled for the Underground Basillica tour on Saturday at 1:00. Will I also have time to visit the Vatican Muse first in the morning? What time does it open? or just visit the Basillica in the morning? Thanks. We will be in Rome 5 days and want to see it all....

The museums open at 9 but in order to get where you need to be for the scavi tour you should leave by noon. If you can book entry tickets for 9 you should have enough time to visit the museums first. I don't know that they will have any tickets for 9 available as that is the most popular time to visit. I would book entry tickets online to guarantee the time slot. Donna
