HI !
I will be arriving one day early for tour and will be going to ambasciatorri hotel at 8:30 am ( plane lands at 7:40) anyone want to connect and meet me at transportation!. I will be solo so a little nervous about getting the bus to city center because I don't know where to get off near the hotel and then how to walk to hotel.

I just returned from Palermo a few weeks ago. If you are unable to connect with anyone to travel with you and if you are still nervous about the taxi/shuttle, here is another option to consider. The train station is in the airport and is really easy to find and drops you off right in the middle of Palermo. From there it could potentially be easier for you to navigate to your hotel. Hope that helps.

I like Charles' advice about the train. Also, you can use Google Maps to get directions and a map in advance and print them out. I sometimes even use "street view" to get a sense of what walking along that street will look like. You are going to do great and I know you will enjoy your tour.
