On the first full day of the RS Rome tour, the group goes to San Clemente church and the Colosseum in the morning, followed by a lunch break, and then to the Forum in the afternoon.
I imagine the lunch break won’t be much more than 60-90 minutes. Does anyone have a recommendation for somewhere around the Colosseum/Forum to get a quick bite to eat?
After the Forum, I’d like to go to either (or possibly both) the Capitoline Museums or San Pietro in Vincoli. Does anyone know where the Forum tour ends? If it ends near the Colosseum, I’d head to the church first. But if we end up closer to the Campidoglio, then it makes more sense to see the museums first.
