Dear fellow RS travelers,
Have you taken the RS best Italy trip in 22 days? If so, how many daylight hours did you spend at each sight destination? How many hours did you spend in getting to the sight destinations, including inexpensive public transportion? Whereas I'll stay at RS suggested centrally located hotels and eat how he suggests, I want to spend the maximum daylight hours at sight destinations and relax and stoll at night. (1) Spend less money getting to sight destinations the RS way; versus (2) having more daylight hours at the sight destinations even if I spend more money to do so. The diffeence is that I'll stay only one night in Cinque Terre, only one nite in Sorrento, eliminate Milan, Sienna, Assissi, Pisa and Civita, so I could do every other portion of the RS Best Italy trip, which could be done, or RS wouldn't suggest it. I know the distances and hours between sight destinations. To me, the most desireble sights along the RS Best Italy trip is Cortina Arrow in Sky cable car, Marmolado and Pordoi cable cars, Cinque Terre walk not too steep, Naples as RS suggests, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. The next most desireable portions are Venice, Florence, Pompeii and Rome. For those of you who did the RS Best Italy Trip, help me figuire it out. Thanks fellow RS travelers, Howard
