Row Venice for seniors

For those that have done the Row Venice tours, how strenuous are they? We are in our 60's, but in decent shape.

Paddle as much as you like. My husband and I took turns. It was so peaceful on the back canals, and such an interesting experience. We were both in our late sixties. Have a great time!

You’ll be fine. We were early 70’s. I did row a little. My husband did more, but since we did the cichetti choice, at some point she took over. It is great being on the back canals.

We enjoyed the cicchetti RowVenice last month…both in our 70’s. Nan was our “person”…she was wonderful, very knowledgeable and patient. It’s definitely harder than it looks, but we had so much fun. I will say that, ok…I may be a lightweight…but two glasses of wine impacted my rowing ability :).

If you plan this and will be walking to the meeting point by way of the Rialto area, be sure to allow plenty of time to get through the crowds. The rowing canals are peaceful and quiet. Enjoy!

We always stay in the Cannaregio area, which is about five minutes from where Row Venice started when we did it, pre-covid. The back canals are magical.
