Route from Venice to Munich stopping to see Bolzano, Dolmites, High Alpine Road, Hallstatt

We are planning on driving from Venice end of this May to Bolzano to see the Ice Man museum stay 1 night in the area next day drive the Dolmite Road as I read very scenic which ends in Cortina d'Amprezzo and continue driving to Heiligenblut to spend 1 night before driving the High Alpine Road and continue onto Hallstatt to visit the salt mines spend 1 night in Hallstatt and drive to Munich for 2 nights. I was reading some opinions that said Bolzano isn't really in the Dolmites and not that interesting the only reason we thought to go there was to see the Ice Man. Then we want scenic drives thru the Dolmites to end in Heiligenblut because we want to do the High Alpine Road. But we are open to any suggestions to change our route around. We are leaving Venice on May 30th and need to be in Munich on June 2nd. So we have 3 nights. We are planning that all passes and roads are open that time of year. Thank you to all for any help.

I would not worry about people's opinion on whether or not Bolzano is in the Dolomites. They are replying to people planning to stay in Bolzano to see the Dolomites, and the real mountains are east of there. Nice town to spend an afternoon and visit the Archeology Museum and see "Oetzi". Just make sure the museum will be open the day you plan to be there to by going to they're website. You will see plenty of Dolomitic towers between there and Cortina.
