room and bed designations

Sorry to be such a newbie... but for reservations at an agriturismo in Italy, what do the (2+0) beds, (2+2) beds, etc. mean?
If I have two adults, what do I select? Thanks.

2+2=accommodation for up to 4 people. It means a bedroom with 2 beds (or one double bed) but you can add two persons (in the living room or wherever) because there is a sofa bed (or double sofa bed) generally in the living room. 4+2=accommodations for up to 6 people. It means 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each (or one double bed each) but you can add two person because there is room for two more in a sofa bed (generally in the living room).
6+2=accommodations for up to 8 people. It means 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each (or one double bed each) but you.....(see above). Basically the first number indicates real beds, the second number after the + sign means sofa bed addition (usually in the living room). I've never seen 2+0, but I guess it means no sofa beds. If you are going with your spouse, all you need is a 2+....
