We will be a group of 6 staying in the Trastevere neighbourhood and are looking for a rooftop restaurant that we can enjoy without taking our a second mortgage! Obviously I know it won’t be cheap and we don’t mind spending good money on a memorable dinner. If not in the neighborhood, another recommendation please.

The article is in Italian but you can use Google Translate to translate. You can Google the name of the places on GoogleMaps to see where they are. Prices of rooftop restaurants tend to be above average since they basically charge you for the view, but, after you find them on GoogleMaps you can click on the menu and see if within your budget. For sure I can tell you that the most expensive restaurants in Rome will likely be pretty reasonable by the standards of the San Francisco Bay Area where I live.
