Ron In Rome Booked... Who Else

Ron is booked... and We will be traveling to Rome on May 22 through the 25. We would like to secure a private tour We would like to see the main attractions as the Colosseum, Villa Borghese, Pantheon, Vatican City, etc. We will be traveling as 2 parents plus 1-19 year old and
1-14 year old. We don't like lines; and we like to know the interesting "behind the scenes" that most don't get to know. Our boys are crazy for gladiators and emperors; prisons, stuff like that... Anyone with another great private guide?

Have you thought about asking Ron for another recommendation? That is what I would do.

Hi Carolyn, I ticked! Ron did not have room service when we used him. Ron knows so much about Rome, just ask him.He told us about places that we had never heard of. Ron and his wife are great people! We still e-mail him. Have fun.

All the best, Monte

Carolyn,

You might try Francesca Caruso. She's an outstanding Guide, and listed in the Guidebooks, but I would advise booking as soon as possible as she's very popular.

Happy travels!

Carolyn,
My wife and I used Federica D'Orazio when we were in Rome in January and we loved her. Ron was booked when we were going too. I just sent her an e-mail and she was prompt to write back. She has written a book about Rome with Pictures you can look through that and she has an Art History Degree. She was fantastic!!! We toured the Ceasar Shuffle with her. We learned way more than we would have. Give her a try. Here is her website

I would also recommend the Scavi Tour under St. Peter's. Good Luck and have a Great trip.
