Hey anyone have any advice if you just show up at the Rome airport or train station without room reservations ?? Any luck on booking same day rooms for one to three nights, or at least, maybe what to avoid ? thanks.......

The Termini train station has a very nice service desk, which will assist you with any needed lodging.

You can always find a room. Depending on what's going on in Rome you may find a great deal or you may pay through the nose. It's a gamble but it's worth it if prefer to travel without set plans.

Just returned from ROME last week, I did the same thing. Google last minute hotel deals, your likely to get a good deal at the last minute. There were a lot of options to chose from.
