My husband and I will be in Rome for 10 nights the last 10 days of October. I’m looking for an apartment with a washer, not more than two flights of stairs (ground floor, one flight or an elevator would be preferred) and a separate bedroom ideally. Edited to clarify we prefer not to have a studio. I have found a few possibilities that would meet our needs and at a price point I can live with. One is about 10-15 minutes from Termini and the other slightly more expensive place is in a “quiet corner of Trastevere.” They are both on Airbnb and the exact addresses aren’t available unless you book. The Trastevere place looks like it is near the bridge that crosses the river near Campo de’ Fiori. I found another place on Booking that is located at Viale Giuseppe Mazzini, 157 2 piano int 8, Vaticano Prati, 00195 Rome.
I would like to hear the opinions of those locations from those who know Rome and would be open to other places. We would like it to be fairly quiet at night and are willing to wear earplugs if needed. I would also like to be fairly central but understanding that public transportation will have to be used at times. We will probably do at least 2 day trips during our time there. We will have come from Naples. From Rome we will be flying to Budapest.
I’ve been looking at Airbnb and Booking.dot.com. If you have any other suggestions for searching for apartments that would be great. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice you can give.
