Rome: Trastevere Hotel, need advice

There is a good chance that I will have to go to Rome for a week at the end of February for work. (I know, business travel can really suck!) I will of course seek to add a few days, but here is my need: The meeting (all week, 8-5) is in, of all places, a Holiday Inn near the Muratella Station at a rate of 140 Euro. For a fairly seasoned low impact traveller like me, I'm thinking find a hotel in a more quaint location and commute(public transport). My wife will be along and would like to fill her day with cafes and wandering (but is leary of getting lost on her own). As it happens, the Trastevere Station is 3 stops up the line from the conference hotel. So... does anyone have suggestions for hotels near the Trastevere station (Walking distance) that are comfortable, quiet, but need not be at all posh. Looking for the up to 120 Euro range, double, bath in room not overly important. Would like to have enough of a neighborhood to get coffee in the morning and enough for my wife to walk around and gawk at. Thanks to all in advance.

The Trastevere train station is not located near the fun area of Trastevere that the area is known for.
