My mom and I are spending 4 days in Rome and decided to branch out to Tivoli for the 5th. I'm learning as I go here as it's our first time even out of the country. We would like to take the train from Rome to Tivoli because everyone says it's beautiful but what are some suggestions on transportation between sites like Villa d'Este, Villa Greogirana, and Hadrian's Villa? Also would it better to take a train or a bus back to Rome?
