How do we get to the Princess Cruise Terminal
Where is the terminal?
Hire a driver or take the train from Rome to Civitavecchia. There is no porter service on the train.
If your cruise goes our of the port of Rome (Civitaveccia) you can take the train from the main train station, Roma Termini. There are ticket machines in the station lobby that take credit cards and are in English. The fare is only 4.5 euro. You book your time, get the ticket and go to the track (ours left from track 25 I think). There is an information desk at the station right in front of track 5 and they give help in English. We took our rolling duffles onto the train, but if you have a lot of big luggage, you would check it and the check in place is on the way to the track you need. When you get to Civitaveccia, it is an easy walk to the cruise port, turn right after coming out of the station and follow the road along the waterfront straight to the port. I don't remember, but I think there are signs pointing to the port. Once inside the port gate, there are free shuttle buses labeled with the cruise ships and they take you right to your ship.
Thanks for your help. Larry
