Hi everyone
I am planning to be in Rome then go to Naples for three nights. I had Pompeii, Capri, Naples and Herculean all plan and my husband just told me about Sperlonga. Would it be better to stop in Sperlonga on the way to Naples or visit as it's on day trip from Naples. sadly we will have luggage with us, so it would need to be stored if Sperlonga was "on route" destination. I may be able to do it as a day trip from Rome, we'll be in Rome for 9 nights

Sperlonga is only a little more than an hour by train from Rome, I would do it as a daytrip and not worry about luggage. The train station may be a little distance from the town, since it serves two locations.
