We will be going from Rome to Sorrento and we want to know if we can do the Archeological Museum and maybe the Mondo walking tour if we have luggage is tow on the way. Is this too much for one day? We have three nights in Sorrento. Need help with the itinerary.

We did this same route during our Italy trip. You do NOT want to do it with luggage in tow. Just check it at the Naples train station and you will be luggage free for the day.

We did the same itinerary years ago. Leave the luggage at the Naples train station. We walked from the station to the Museum (30 minutes) stopping at one of the local pizzarias in the RS book.
In Sorrento we always stay at Antiche Mura. Nice 4 star hotel in heart of Sorrento. Great breakfast. Kids loved it. I highly recommend it.

The luggage storage at Napoli Centrale is one or two doors away from the police office, very safe, just make sure to check opening and closing times.

Thanks everyone! Sounds doable. Already have reservations at Antica Mura.
Should we take the Mondo all day tour to Positano et al on Friday or Saturday? Capri?
