Rome to Sorrento Bus - Experience with Curreri or Marozzi ?

I have read about the Curreri and Marozzi buses from Rome to Sorrento and return (3 1/2 hours). Anyone have experience with either of these 2 bus companies? Seems to be a MUCH better experience than the Rome train, local train from Naples, etc.

We took the Curreri from Rome to Sorrento. It was very nice. There isn't a bathroom on the bus, but they stop about half way at a gas station/ convenience store.

If you are looking for "experience" then perhaps the bus is better than the train. If you are looking for flexibility and convenience, the trains are far better. The buses only run a couple of times each day. The trains run dozens of times each day. No contest.

We didn't take the bus back from Sorrento to Rome, but we had wanted to. We found out the 5pm bus from Sorrento to Rome Tiburtina didn't run on the Thursday we were planning to go back to Rome. There also was a 6am back to Rome daily. So we ended up taking the train back to Naples then Termini. Train is fine, but the bus probably would be a bit easier, if it fits your schedule and you don't mind ending up at Tiburtina.

We took the Marozzi bus from Rome to Sorrento. It also was very nice. I don't remember if there is a bathroom on the bus, but they also stop about half way at a gas station/ convenience store. We appeared to be the only tourists, rest of passengers seemed to be Sorrento area locals.
