I will be in Rome and want to travel to the Sorrento but I am not sure what is the fastest and less expensive to get there from Rome. Any tips will help!

Minerva, The easiest and quickest way to travel from Rome to Sorrento is via EuroStar Italia / Alta Velocita (fast) train from Rome to Naples. When you arrive at Napoli Centrale, walk downstairs to the Circumvesuviana station for the short ride to Sorrento (the Circumvesuviana is a small commuter train). Note that they have several routes, so it's important to board the correct train for Sorrento. The Circumvesuviana has a bit of a "reputation" so be sure to watch your luggage closely (I should note that I've never experienced any problems on that train). Happy travels!
