We are going from Rome to Positano. What's the best way to get there?

I recommend taking direct train to Salerno and if seas are calm take the ferry to Positano or the Sita bus to Amalfi change to bus to Positano. I took the Train to Naples-train to Sorrento ( IMO the train from hell!!!!) and then hired a driver to take me to the apt I was renting in Positano because I was too stressed out to take the Sita bus to positano as I had planned. When I left Positano I took the ferry to Naples--bus to train station & then train to Rome. The ferry is the MOST Beautiful way to arrive in Positano!!
