we will be ending our RS Venice to Rome tour and before heading home we could take a couple days to explore more of Rome and if possible take in Pompeii. Are the trains easy to figure out? What is the train time distance and cost?

Hey i'm going to Pompeii from Rome 12 days from now. It is a major tourist attraction so very easy to figure out
It takes about 2 hours more or less to get there from Rome. The travel time and costs depends on the time you leave from Rome.
But I it is going to cost me about 20 euros to get there one way in 3 hours counting the time waiting to transfer from the train Rome to Naples to the one going to Pompeii.
