My hubby informed me lastnight that the one thing he would like to do on our September trip to Italy is to visit the Leonardo DaVinci museum in Vinci. Our itenerary looks like this: 9/1: arrive in Rome at 2:50 9/2-9/5 in Rome - leave early on the morning of 9/5 9/5-9/7: Florence 9/7-9/10: Venice My thinking is to take a train on 9/5 early in the morning from Rome to Pisa, see the tower, then continue on the train to Empoli, stopping in Empoli to see the museum in Vinci, then continue on to Florence in the evening. Doable? Anyone been to Vinci? Thanks!
