I bought round trip Rome to Naples via the Trenitalia website, where it promised to send receipt and record ID. I have neither nor do they show that I bought the tickets other than the deduction from my bank account. Any help would be appreciated; Of course I fear I just dropped 225 dollars in the drain and will have to buy again via a more conventional manner.
David are you sure your bank account has been charged, most people have had problems purchasing from the US. You would have had to create a login sign in and go to the customer service are there is a telephone number you can call to get some answers there also may be a transaction ID , there is an order summary page that may contain some information also look for PRN code and CP code those are your confirmation id's hope this helps keep me posted Cliff
Thanks so much. I did indeed get the booking but no PNR was given on the summary page. My bank did alert me that a debit had been made to my account by Trenitalia. I think you are right in that I will now have to call their help line and hope someone speaks English as my Italian will be far too poor to do this. Thanks so much for the helpful reply David
