Rome to Maratea

Has anyone taken Trenitalia or Italo from Rome to Maratea. Wondering how many stops along way.

Go to the trenitalia webste and select the train you want to take. Click where it shows the numer of changes. The next page will show all of the stops and change stations

You do not have to wonder. You can just look this up on www.trenitalia.com and www.italotreno.com

And there you will see that there are a few direct trains per day, but that most of the time you will have to change. "Direct" does not mean "non Stop" however, unlike planes trains usually make multiple calls en route...

Remember that Maratea has three stations, so the one you choose will depend on where you are headed.
Are you staying in the Upper town?
