Easy. Just learn to use the www.trenitalia.com website. If you want a more USA friendly site, www.italiarail.com. Prices here are quoted in dollars and about 5% higher.

Use the websites listed above to get schedules, routes and prices. Here's Ron in Rome's take on The latest fare structure for Italian trains. Basically, you can get hefty discounts if you book in advance and commit to a specific train. If you buy at the last minute, you'll have complete flexibility, but will pay more.

Hello Sue From Roma Termini you have many speed train to La Spezia Centrale (every 2 hours) and from La Spezia have connection with local train to Manarola (every houra) At all about 4 hours. Can you look at www.trenitalia.it
