Rome to Civitavecchia to airport

We are planning our Sept 2017 trip to Italy with a western med cruise at the end. We plan to stay in Rome for a day prior to the cruise. We want to stay in the Pantheon area. How far is it from there to the cruise port in Civitavecchia, and then how far is it from the cruise port to the Rome airport? What would be the best way to get to both destinations?

Rome to Civitavecchia is over 70 km (about 45 miles). It's approximately 1 hr by car.
A private car transfer is the most convenient way, however probably not the cheapest.
You can also take a train from Rome Termini station. There are numerous trains every hour and travel time and price vary depending on type of train (45 min to 80 min train journey on average). The faster the train the more expensive the fare. Price varies also according to class of service (1st or 2nd class). The cheapest ticket is 5€ o/w per person with a regional commuter train. The most expensive is 21€ for a first class seat on a high speed Frecciabianca train. The pantheon is not walking distance from the station, therefore you'd need a taxi ride (about 10-15 €). Once in Civitavecchia, the train station is less than 1km (0.5 miles) from the port. A walk is doable provided you don't have a lot of luggage.

I know it sounds like it's my brother in law, but that link (new to me) might be a good deal at 69 euros. The key is a service that can drive onto the pier beside your ship. The stinking cruise company will want 130 or so Euros for that trip. This, alas, is a very busy but famously inconvenient cruise port. We found the WALK from the RR station to the port to be opaque and too far, and the cheap train was frequent but incredibly LOCAL on stops. We boarded the train at Ostiense.

The most stress free would be by a pre-arranged limo service. They will take you directly to pier side. Fast and easy. Then have the same company pick you up and take you to the airport. This way the driver you drops you off will tell you exactly where he will pick you up for the trip to the airport.
