Rome Termini?

I just want to confirm before I book & make a fatal (lol) mistake. I am heading from Florence to Rome. So I would need to purchase train tickets from Florence SMN to Roma Termini. I am confident with the Florence train station name but just want to double check the Rome City terminal name.

Thank you!

Yep, Roma Termini is the most central of Rome's stations. :O)

You're welcome! Will you be staying in Rome or just connecting through there?

Yes I will be staying in Rome for three nights. We are staying near the Vatican. The Vatican & St Peter's in on our 78 year old's companions bucket list. Our companion's daughter lives in Florence. We are traveling from the US with her, as she is not comfortable traveling alone. So we plan on having a relaxing time. Not trying to squeeze everything in, in one trip. I would like to do the Vatican & Ostia Antica. If I get to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain great, if not, oh well there's always next time!

Depending on the connections you see, if the train happens to end at Roma Tiburtina, do not overlook it, the stations are only minutes apart, and from either station to most places in Rome is basically no difference. Basically, consider the shortest, cheapest option first.
