Rome's mayor recently confirmed that 1,000 new taxi licenses, will be issued.

Glad to hear the number of licenses will increase. A €5 increase for the airport rate isn’t too bad, still worth it for me.

Good. They definitely need more taxis. I found it surprisingly hard to use them when we were there. And more of them would cut down on the gouging the bad ones try to pull by ensuring there are other options.
