Rome "Suore di Santa Elisabetta" convent

Has anyone stayed here, the reviews I've read so far are out dated.

My husband and I stayed at the Suore di S. Elisabetta convent recently, May 7-12th. Loved it!
Very plain room, twin beds, but adequate for our needs--never spent any time in the room anyway, too much to do and see in Roma!--and the dining hall was lovely. So were the nuns---no English, so please go prepared with a few words of Italian or at least a good grasp of charades--and the nuns will smilingly do all they can to understand what you want. There is an odd thing about the tap water in the rooms--they recommend not drinking it. Instead, you go out into their courtyard and fill up your drinking bottle at the fountain they have there (there are drinking fountains all over Roma). Also, the curfew is 11:30 pm, and they ask that you hand in your room key every time you leave, and then you return to the desk to retrieve it when you get back. Not a huge problem, since there's (almost) always someone at the desk. There is one English-speaking office person, but she wasn't there on the weekend. The only slight problem we ran into was having to leave really early to catch a train (7 am) and the doors were locked, meaning we were locked inside, and no one was at reception. We could hear singing, so figured they were doing their morning devotions. We had to push the buzzer and out came a nun to let us out, still smiling I might add, although we were terribly embarrassed!
The convent also has a roof-top patio which can be enjoyed at any time---hubby and I brought back a couple of pizzas and a bottle of wine one night to enjoy some alfresco dining, and watch the lights over Roma--wonderful.
I recommend this place highly---it's also only a ten-minute walk from the Termini train station.
