Anyone want to chime in on where my husband should stay? He has a trip for business and would be looking near or not far from the Villa Borghese , Medici, Trevi Fountain, and Barberini station.
He doesn’t mind having to take a cab or a car to get anywhere.

It was walking distance to all of those, but also close to a metro station (Piazza di Spagna) - 1 stop from Barberini station. There's an underground passage from the Piazza di Spagna to the bottom edge of the Villa Borghese gardens.
Last October, I stayed at the Basilio55 hotel in Rome and liked it very much. It’s about half a block north of Piazza Barberini. The bed was comfortable, it has a lift, and very friendly staff. I stayed there 6 nights and would stay there again.
