Rome's Bus 117

They were running last summer, 116 and 117.

The still seem to be reflected on the Rome Journey Planner.

I took both a 116 and 117 a couple of weeks ago. They have lots of sponsorship on the outside now so it looks OK for a while.

Thanks for the answers. My hotel is one block from the 117 and I'm hoping it will continue to be running later this month. Thanks again.

be aware that those electric buses are S-L-O-W and tiny. They are on routes that include tiny lanes so they need to be so small, and they really are slow.

They have, if I remember correctly, 4 seats across the back and either 2 or 4 seats facing backwards behind the driver, and standing room for about half a dozen if everybody bunches up.

There are usually some lesser abled folk on so seats are not always available.

Four seats behind the driver's partition, four seats across the back, two fold-down seats on the side facing the door.
