Rome "Pigneto" neighborhood anything like Butte-aux-Cailles in Paris

When we were in Paris this year we visited the Butte-aux-Cailles neighborhood and liked it a lot with its vibe and especially wandering the streets and alleys and finding the street art in different places. Same for Salerno. I have heard good things about the Pigneto neighborhood and wondered if anyone has input on it - or any other Rome neighborhood - for interesting ares and street art and how it might compare.

We will be in Rome in March staying in Trastevere and are always interested in these kinds of areas when we have time. The pictures from Quadro look interesting but it seems like further outside the city than I'd be inclined to go.

I know this is kind of a niche ask but hopefully there are some informed opinions out there, thanks,

There could be some similarities between Butte-aux-Cailles and Pigneto. Especially the artistic graffiti and murales painted on the walls.
It's a vibrant area at night with many side walk cafes on Via del Pigneto, just east of Piazza del Pigneto. That street is all pedestrianized now.

Good to know - we love to find arty, funky neighborhoods when we have the time explore.

Thanks,
