Rome Parking - at Metro stop or near Vatican

I've driven in Rome once before, to a hotel, and it was intense to say the least. Not to mention the ZTL areas are sometimes a bit confusing.

This time, my family and I are staying in rural Tuscany and will be driving for an early entry to the Vatican. The only real option for this time of day is to drive. I don't see any ZTL areas near the Vatican.

I'm looking for parking suggestions at a metro stop (Batitstini or Cornelia?) or near the Vatican. I've read that there is decent parking at a market nearby the Vatican, but those posts were over 5 years old. Is it somewhat easy to get in and out? I plan to leave the car all day until after dinner. We'll be utilizing public transport until we leave.

I'll be coming from the north. Looking for suggestions from people who have experience. Thanks much!

If you log into Google Maps, you can type in "Parking in Rome, Italy" and you will see parking garages on the map. Pick one and you are home free.

Thanks for the tip! Looks like there are several options. If anyone has suggestions on which may be the easiest/safest, let me know!

Park at the Tiburtina Station, then take train to Station S.Pietro. 25 minutes. Doing this you don't have to stop at Termini and change trains. 15 minute walk to St Peters Basilica.

Gerri said what I was going to say. Parking at Roma Tiburtina station is relatively easy, and you can metro the rest of the way to wherever you're going.

Really appreciate the suggestions, gerri & darren. Any particular garage you recommend? Seems to be quite a few in that area. I assume I should purchase parking in advance.

Any suggestions on Vatican times are welcomed too. Last time I went in June at 11am (skip the line) it was miserable!

Should I go for 9am when they open to avoid the lingering crowds that tend to build up, or opt for late day like 4pm? Hmm.

Thanks!!
