Rome - other suggestions for rooms?

I used booking.com to find a single/bath and breakfast a few steps from Piazza Navona's north entrance (a few blocks from the Pantheon) for 95 euro. For Rome, it seemed like a bargain. Hotel name is Hotel Genio.

Melany, have you looked at the review section for Rome hotels on tripadvisor.com you can enter a search by area and budget.

Tried but impossible to narrow location - except for Trastevere where Suite Mura Aurelie came up but I cannot find any contact information and prefer to contact hotels directly rather than via 3rd party.

I use www.nicerome.it when I go to Rome. Click on the map on your area of choice. Pantheon is in the Centro Storico. Use tripadvisor also to get travelers reviews to have a full picture. $125 is 90 Euro. Kind of tough in The Centro Storico. Check B&B also since they tend to be cheaper. Otherwise the area closer to Roma termini station is cheaper. And so is trastevere. The centro storico is probably most expensive. But search. You never know.

Use booking.com or venere.com. You input your dates and it will show you only those places that are available. It also displays a map that shows you where they are so you can easily look at only the ones in Trastevere. Do you really mean $125US or do you mean 125 euros? If the former, you are going to have a bit of a challenge, esp. at this late date. Good luck.

We have stayed with Elsa Cappelletti @ vis dei Queroti 24. Between the col. & the Pantheon.She has several nice rooms & was a sweet lady!

We will be staying at Hotel Accomodation - in the price range and good reviews. We'll see!! Thanks to everyone for suggestions!
