A friend and I are walking from Siena to Rome. We are staying in small inns and monasteries along the way. Any recommendations for a nice monastery accommodation in Roma? Please centrally located...near Piazza Navona, Campo de fiori, other, just not outside. Grazie

We stayed at this B&B on our first trip to Rome: ISTITUTO IL ROSARIO: https://www.monasterystays.com/?d=Italy/Lazio/Rome/Colosseum/LAR114-accommodation email Sister Marta irodopre@tin.it. It's a working convent but it's clean, ask for private bath. It has a lovely rooftop terrace. It's nearer the Colosseum.

I second Il Rosario--just got back from three weeks in Italy and stayed there for two. The location is perfect.
