Rome-Looking for good restaurant on Christmas eve...before going to St.Peters Sq.

We are a family of 5 and will be staying in Campo de Fiori. Hoping to have Christmas Eve dinner at a restaurant on the way to St.Peters for midnight mass. Any recommendations much appreciated!

Probably not the most direct, but we had Christmas Eve dinner there one year. NYE dinner another year, honeymoon dinner one year. Sort of like the place........

We are particularly fond of Antica Taverna in via Monte Giordano. We've spent 3 Christmas Eves there and they are open early. It's easy to walk to St. Peter's from there. They serve a fixed price Euro 45 per person feast. The price included wine and is, as tradition dictates, an all seafood dinner.

N.B: Do you have tickets for the mass? You have to go very early if you do.... If not, you will be standing in the square with thousands of others watching on the Jumbtrons.
