Rome Jewish Ghetto lunch

Could not find recommendations on the Forum search. We'll be seeing Villa Farnesina then having lunch before doing RS Jewish Ghetto walking tour. RS Italy mentions Sora Margherita (implies the experience is bettewr than the food), he also mentions Nonna Betta (have read that reservations are hard to get). Do you know a typical/not fancy restaurant in the Ghetto to recommend for a lunch break?

I have never made a lunch reservation for Nonna Betta, just walked in. There are several good restaurants in either side and across the street, not all are kosher.

Edit: try nonnabetta.it, their website is in English.

We had lunch this summer at BaGhetto. At the time of ordering we asked the waiter for suggestions. He basically told us what to eat and what wine to drink. It was fabulous.

We had a wonderful lunch at Bellacarne Kosher Grill, right next door to Ba'Ghetto. Six of us from our 21 day BOE group shared appetizers, one of which was a remarkable fried artichoke (yum). The main dishes were excellent (hubby had the carbonara, beef bacon.....and I had the spaghetti with tomato sauce. We all loved sitting outside amongst the locals. Highly recommend!
