As long as you have a reservation for the Vatican Museum, you could avoid the morning crush.

We are just wrapping up 5 days in Rome.

First day sounds perfect.

Get to colosseum by 8:30 (when it opens) and have tickets in hand if possible. Went this morning with tix we had bought the day before (went to forum) and walked straight to the front of the line. There was a long line of people who needed to buy tickets. Check RS for tips.

Reserve tix now for Borghese Gallery. We couldn't get in. :-(

We went to Vatican on a Friday night which was absolutely amazing so I can't speak to afternoon. However from what I've seen so far I'd recommend hitting that first thing in the morning instead of afternoon.

The RS audio guides have been awesome. Even the teenagers have enjoyed them. And they are free!

Hope this helps!

7/30 - Reach Rome at 1.30 am 4- 8 Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps,
Pantheon

I assume you mean reaching Rome at 1:30 PM (13:30 PM) and not AM?
Last entry to the Pantheon on Sundays is at 5:45 PM so do that one on the 30th before other attractions - like the Spanish Steps and Trevi - which are merely walk-bys and don't have visiting hours. With 4 hours to kill, you also have time to work in more besides just those 3 things as you won't spend that long at the steps or the fountain.
