If you hire a guide who works for themselves how much should you tip? If you have a guide who is guideing you in a golf cart and works for a company what should you tip? Do you tip for the Vatican keymaster experience?

Generally we round up for private guides if they do a great job. So €180 becomes €200. For someone who works for another company, absolutely 10% minimum, more for an exceptional experience.
That said, we had such a terrible guide at Pompeii one time, I gave her a handshake and walked away.
