Folks, Following Rick's advice, here is my three day schedule in Rome Arrive Friday afternoon Friday evening: Dolce Vita Stroll Saturday: Vatican Museums, St.Peter's Basilica (closed Sun) Saturday evening: Heart of Rome walk Sunday: Galleria Borghese, Musei capitaloni (both closed Mon) Monday: Colloseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon Monday evening: Depart to Florence on train What do you think? Vikram - I like your plans also. You may also want to add Palatine Hill - it is right next to the Forum and Colosseum. I had a Roma Pass and was able to go to Palatine Hill , Colosseum, and Forum as a single entry on my Roma Pass.

My family has spent a great deal of time in Rome and other parts of Italy the past three summers, and I think your plans look fantastic. For us, the Roma Pass was worth its weight in gold just for not having to stand in the lines when visiting sites. It saved us a lot of time.
