Rome in November

Hello, My boyfriend and I will be visiting Rome from November 12th - 18th and i was just wondering if anyone had any insights on weather conditions during this time of year... I have googled a bit and basically i have found that towards the beginning of November it can be in-between temperature, but towards the end it can be rainier... not sure what i should expect to pack for since we are traveling smack in the middle of November! We are from Las Vegas, Nevada USA so we are not accustomed to cold weather so i'm not sure how to prepare!

I also was wondering if anyone had any experience with buying the Omnia Vatican and Rome pass? It does include the Roma pass and I'm not sure weather I should just by the Roma pass on its own or go ahead and spurge on the Omnia pass as well...
I work for a company that is going to be able to Comp the Big Bus Hop on- Hop off bus for free which is valid for 3 days.

This is the first time out of the United States for us, so any advice at all is appreciated!

Pack something water proof just in case of rain or umbrella and a sweater just layer up as needed.
It is not cold in Rome in November (60 degrees High 45 Low average).
I was there last December and the 1st week of January and remember 50 degrees in the day. not cold.
I assume you go to other places in the USA of varying temperatures and not just Las Vegas.

Check Weather Underground for historic temps.

My husband were in Italy for 16 days last Nov - between Vets Day and Thanksgiving. Except for a little rain in Florence and one damp early AM in Rome, the weather was GORGEOUS for touring. Bring layers and be ready to peel them off by 10am if the sun comes out. I’ve been for Christmas also and it was also fairly nice.
The way I look at it is if I am going to place with palm trees (which Rome does have scattered about), how cold could it be? Although temps are relative. I’m in NYC area and winters here can be brutal.

At the first sign of rain, the trinket vendors will start selling umbrellas, which are not very sturdy but you can leave them behind if you want.

Layering is good if there is a "cold snap", otherwise in the evening it's a bit like a winter night in Las Vegas (but humid), where I lived for three years.
