Im going to be in Rome for three days in June. Im looking for a triple room with air cond, 3 stars or above that is located within a easy walk to the sights. i usually like a hotel where i can walk out the door in the evening and be where i can stroll the squares, have dinner ect. Any suggestions?

We like Hotel Pendini near Piazza della Repubblica. Great comfort and service and luxury at a good price. Block from metro.

Gio, are you talking about the Hotel Pendini in Florence? I second the Hotel Smeraldo, but I'm not sure about a triple room. Very close to the Campo di Fiori and walkable to almost everywhere.

Not sure about hotel with triple room but if you want to be near sights and restaurants try to get a hotel near Campo Fiori ( or Pantheon but more $$$). The hotels near Termini are too far away from the better areas. Campo Fiori is a great place to explore in the early morning.

It may be all relative, and personal opinion, but we don't view Termini as "too far" from the sights. BUT we don't mind walking so a twenty minute walk is not a big deal for us. There are several great local restaurants in that area.
